Our time down here is at an end so here's a couple of pictures to wrap up the stay.
The Casa Grande Municipal airport fly in..... not a major air show but fun just the same
We spent the day with friends in Tucson and took the tram up Sabino Canyon. 3.7 miles up and a short hike later we were headed down again.
Pam drove us up Mt Lemon which rises about to about 9000 feet about Tucson. The road up is 25 miles of curves and climb but the scenery is spectacular.
Arland and Dianne dressed up for the St Pats day parade. What do we do in the desert for St Pats day? We have a parade and then eat and drink.
Gail always provides the entertainment and she didn't disappoint. Thanks Gail!

Canyon Lake
Tuesday was head for the hills day. So we departed the desert for Canyon Lake East of Apache Junction for a ride on the Dolly Steamboat.
Gail and Sharleen did their best "Dolly Driver" Impersonation.
Along the way we saw lots of Bald Eagles and Big Horn sheep. How they live on the cliffs and don't fall off we have no clue.
The scenery was spectacular as new formations awaited around each bend. The trip lasted about a hour and a half and then it was off to Tortilla Flats about two miles away for lunch and then home.
I had to include this picture of Jack and Gail just for fun. Ginny might enjoy seeing them again.
All for now.... just having fun in the desert.
