Fall RV trip wrapup

We're home now after a month  roaming the Pacific Northwest and having a great time. I want to include a few pictures of life down the Washington and Oregon coast.

Westport Washington is the same as ever. lunch was good and we walked the port as we have done many times before.

Les and Nadine joined us for a great three days of hiking, campfires and just talking.

Les, Nadine and Gem found a log on the beach. The day was spectacular with warm weather and sunny skies.

A visit to Bradys oyster farm is always mandatory so we did that and had oysters on the grill one evening.

We bid farewell to Westport and headed to Florence, Oregon for a day of walking the town.e

The town of Florence is another gem on the Oregon coast. We had a rainy day.... the only one in a month but it was still fun. Sharleen shopped while I played Pokémon go.

The little town's main street was mostly deserted but we still had a good time

We moved on to Bullards Beach state park in Bandon, Oregon. It's our favorite park on the Oregon coast. Here you can see the spacious campsite..... lots of room and a fire ring for campfires.

The Coquille light house still stands at the river mouth.

The little town of Bandon overlooks the Coquille river and you can see the light house in the background. What a beautiful day in town.

Crabbing is a favorite pastime here and on the pier we happened to meet two old friends we hadn't seen in almost 20 years. Good to catch up with Mike and Betty...... small world!

The pier we crab from extends into the harbor and you can see the fishermen in boats fishing for Salmon in the river.

Crabbing was not great this year but I did manage to catch two big ones..... one each for dinner. It doesn't get better than fresh crab right from the water.

One last walk on the beach and we headed home. Another month in the Pacific Northwest in the books. We hope we do it many more times. Next up is Casa Grande in January.
